Agreement and Club Rules

General Information
St Elizabeth After School Club provides out of school activity primarily for children of working parents in a safe, happy environment, supervised by a professional, experienced staff. The Club will be open during term time only, from Monday to Friday between 3.30-6.00pm.
St Elizabeth After School Club is situated in our Community House.
St Elizabeth After School Club must be self financing. No financial support is received from the school. All running costs must be met from fee income. Any profits made after costs will be ploughed back into the Club for the benefit of the children, surplus funds will be used to support school activities and the curriculum.
Children attending St. Elizabeth After School Club will be supervised at all times, the staff acting in loco parentis.
St Elizabeth After School Club exists primarily for pupils of St Elizabeth school. Children from other schools may be accepted providing there are vacancies. St Elizabeth After School Club has a specific number of places available. We accept all applications but priority places will be given to:

– Looked after children and children with disabilities.
– Children who have previously used our after school club service.
– Children with Parents in full time employment.
– Priority will be given to siblings of existing Club members.

The number of children attending St Elizabeth After School Club and supervision levels at any session will be in accordance with Local Authority guidelines.
The varied programme includes arts, sports, recreational and educational activities.
St. Elizabeth After School Club staff will supervise children at all times during Club hours, until they are collected by their parent/carer (or named substitute). The parent/carer must give WRITTEN permission if they wish a child to go home unaccompanied during the summer months.
The Club session starts at 3.30pm and finishes at 6.00pm during normal school days.
Places can be booked for regular use on one or more days per week.
Arrival and Collection Arrangements
St Elizabeth children are expected to make their own way to the Community House immediately at the end of school. They are registered on arrival. Every effort is made to contact parents if a child does not arrive. PLEASE let Club staff know if your child is not attending a specific session.
FEE Structure
THESE FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
Regular attendance fees are payable monthly/termly in advance. Parents who take the option to pay termly will be entitled to a 5% discount off their total bill.
A regular booking is a booking made for a minimum of half a term and paid in advance at the start of the half term.
Cheques should be made payable to St Elizabeth School
(Please record your child’s name on the reverse of the cheque)

Charges
The cost of St. Elizabeth After School Club provision will be £8 per session, and will run every day during term time. This will include a snack, for the children, at the start of the club.
There will be a penalty charge for late collection at the end of a Club session. Any collections after 6.00pm will result in a charge of £1 per minute for the first 30 minutes followed by the full cost of staff required to remain on site in order to maintain the safety of your child. Parents are asked to telephone the ST. Elizabeth After School Club if they are to be unavoidably late. However, if parents are late on a regular basis (more than twice) after 6pm, they will receive a warning letter firstly and then if this continues, their places at St. Elizabeth After School Club may be withdrawn.
Permanent Cancellation
Notice of cancellation of a St. Elizabeth After School Club place must be notified half a term in advance, in writing. Cancellation outside of this period will involve a forfeit of fees paid.

Refreshments
Soft drinks and a light refreshments will be provided free of charge at the St. Elizabeth After School Club session.
Disciplinary Matters
Any discipline matters will be brought to the parents’/carers’ attention by the Club leader. If the problem cannot be resolved, then the child may, at the discretion of the Head teacher be asked to leave St. Elizabeth After School Club. No refund will be made.
