6M performed ‘King of the Swingers’ in this year’s Ukulele concert!
Thank you to all the parents who came to see our lovely KS2 children performing in the Easter Triduum Service. The children all sang so beautifully and were a pleasure to watch! The story of the three Holy days was told exceptionally by our readers and actors.
Thank you to all the staff who helped pull it altogether! It was a lovely service.
Thank you to the parents who left comments afterwards. They were all really positive and we will share these with the children. Whilst we understand that some parents wanted to see the Year 3’s more, it was a matter of Health and Safety that they couldn’t be in the Hall with the amount of people we had in there. They enjoyed their part and will look forward to having more of a role in their future years in KS2.
Have a restful Easter break,

On Ash Wednesday, the children in KS1 and KS2 participated in a special service. KS2 went into the hall with Father David. We said prayers to God, sung hymns and then we had ashes placed on our heads in the sign of the cross. KS1 also had a service where we said a prayer and Father David placed the ashes on our foreheads.
This is the start of the season of Lent. Lent is a time when you should start to fast, give, prepare and pray. Lent is to remember who you are and to think of others.
